Harvey Nichols is known for its designer fashion brands and is generally considered the go-to store for Fashionistas and fashion forward shoppers. Harvey Nichols has one London Knightsbridge store and six other locations throughout the United Kingdom. We reviewed their flagship London store, which is a unique experience that delivers a complete suite of personal shopping London services that is unmatched by any store in London.

Personal shopper services start with Store Concierge who will coordinate all your appointments for your Personal Shopping London experience.  Located on the ground floor you will be offered something to drink as you wait for your Beauty Concierge or Style Concierge in the store.

The Store Concierge will also escort you to their Medi-Spa Wellness Center for body and face rejuvenation, or direct you to their Fifth Floor Café and Terrace for a quick bite.

PROS:
For shoppers who are fashion forward or looking for designers who typically aren’t found in department stores. You can expect low-key yet very personalized service without having the feeling of being smothered with service.  Also, the shopping environment lower foot traffic and less hectic than stores like Harrods.  Stylist specialize in either Beauty, Fashion or in-store shopping so you can be confident each stylist has the time to keep abreast of trends in their specialty and have he complete knowledge the most recent selections in the store.

CONS:
Harvey Nichols does not have online reservations, nor does its health SPA provide body massages. It’s definitely focused on the well-healed professional from the ages of 30 – 55 years who tend to be somewhat knowledgeable about what fashion and beauty look works for them. There are fewer brands, but most profiled designers are refined but more cutting-edge, so if your favorite designer is Burberry, Harvey Nichols probably isn’t for you.
